Fjords of fog

Dense fog below 1100m made for a bit of a grim start -8 at parking lot, by the time we made the top of Fraser chutes it was apparent it was blue in the alpine, skinned all the way to the summit. -7 at the summit, light southwest wind. Take home points for me from the day. -About 80-100cm of snow in the alpine. -Not much wind affect below 1500m. -old hard windslabs are present above 1500m. - Cornices have already begun to grow and seem large for the time of year on north aspect. - No avalanches observed and we could see quite far from the summit - 5-10mm surface hoar is on the surface in the alpine. Riding has been amazing given the time of year!
