Calm Window in the Alpine

Nice early-season day around Feather and Cleveland. Snow coverage is excellent for this time of year, with 40–50 cm of new snow. Some wind effect and localized wind slab near ridge top especially on north and west aspects. The day was calm. A few avalanches of to size 2 in north face extreme terrain.
