TWO SISTERS

Tour up to 2 sisters to check it out. 0c at car as we set off around 10 am. 3.5 hour tour up, thank goodness for skin wax as we had to stop multiple times to apply it. Many pin wheels on the way up the old 4wd track, not much snow left on the trees, and whoompfing on some of our trail breaking on relatively shallow trail. Decided it wasn't wise to ski the baked South facing slopes, no matter how tempting they looked, so head back the way we came up. On our drive home avalanches on the road through the canyon. Got back to see the avalanche rating had gone up, not surprised, it's a rumbling out there. I definitely would not be heading back again tomorrow as it heats up even more. But beautiful day for us today.
