Perry River Area

An overall enjoyable day of skiing at K3. 15cm of fresh snow provided powder skiing below 1800m. Very wind affected on all aspects higher than 1800m. Wind had removed the almost all new snow, leaving a glazed sun crust above ~1900m. Snow deposited in gullies, no significant wind slabs were observed. Snowpack was 150cm deep at 1800m. Mix of sun and cloud with temperatures around -4 C.
