April surprise

An incredible April surprise, with 23 cm of blower pow at 1350 m and over 30 at treeline, on a firm base. There was too much snow on the road to get to our usual zones, so we went up a creek into a different bowl. No new activity since Tuesday night’s storm, and not much wind loading yet. Light to moderate NE winds. Even the alpine had really good powder. Once the winds get stronger there will be a lot of snow to pick up and move around.
