North summit Strachan

Sloppy isothermal snow, spontaneous small slides released on steep slopes later in the afternoon.

Spontaneous release of a 1.5 wet loose avalanche was observed on the southern slope of the summit of North Strachan. Any thoughts of entering Christmas gully were quickly banished.
