Spectral Riders

Excellent day of skiing and sledding in the Mt.Dillworth area near Stewart today. Shady upper elevation slopes still had about 30 cm of dry powder to ride that seems to have bonded well to underlying layers. Isolated wind slabs may exist in the alpine and we kept an eye out for changing slab qualities as we rode. Lower elevations and sunny slopes got moist in the afternoon and may be crusty tomorrow morning.
