Chickadee Valley, Boom Mountain slide paths

<p>We skied the third avalanche chute from the road from about 10am-1pm. On our skin up, there was avalanche debris in the chute from what looked like a possible cornice failure, about a week old. There was about 5cm on top of hard avalanche debris, and about 15-20cm of powder throughout the rest of the main avy path. We stayed on top of ridges to avoid main avalanche chutes, but still skied some great turns. </p>
