Excellent conditions this morning, dry-ish powder reasonably well bonded to the recent freeze-thaw crust. About 1pm the snow started turning wet near the ridgetop as air temperature increased above 0 and solar effect penetrated the cloud cover.
Observed the results of one size 1.5 natural on the south face of Syncline, and started one size 1 by ski cutting across a convexity on a N/NE aspect at around 1900m. Saw lots of pin wheeling around 2pm as we were exiting.
