Conditions on the ridge were quite minimal. The windward side of the ridge was pretty bare and hard pack. The lee side had small cornice formation and lots of wind loading directly below the ridge. We dug an ECT 10m down from the ridge just above a plateau. Approx 15/20°slope angle. E aspect 2430m elevation. 10cm of wind slab broke with no propagation on 3rd tap. Rest of the test had no movement down to the ground. It took me leveraging behind the column to break off at 20cm above the ground on a layer of facets. A 100cm slab broke off. Riding was powder, although slightly heavy as it has arrived with the wind.
