natural slides 1) south star slide thru old burn, not big, but a terrain trapper, that particular slope angle is ~35+ deg, pretty east facing and gets sunbaked . looks like it failed on the mid feb crust and did not bottom out from other weak layer / facets from early season, so still a significant amount of snow on slope. minor woofing with subtle cracking / indentations on the way up. 2) other natural wind slab slide on which is a pretty mild slope angle E-NE facing,

Snowpack
Normal ski tour route doubled in snow pack (pole+ deep) from last trip mid-February. Pretty deep and tight cream on the way up.
