Decent Turns At Summit

We were surprised the snow was so good (near summit creek) after the recent storm, warming event, and strong winds. We heard one whoompf on a micro feature we were navigating around but beyond that the snow was surprisingly stable. Due to the wind the snow was very variable across the whole area ranging form 130cm to 4cm. We decided after digging a pit it was not worth reporting, as again the snow was so different from spot to spot. There was a nice fresh layer of undisturbed snow on top (~15cm) though that made the skiing great. We avoided large steep slopes and had a great day.
