Blown Away Bell

Riding up at Bell today was a stark reminder of how far behind "normal" we are in regards to snow amounts. We managed to get on top of "Big Bell" with only one rock strike. We found a small loaded feature in the alpine where we dug down to find a surface hoar (feathery crystal) layer still showing up in tests. Though it's getting more difficult to trigger. Until we see more snow the main hazard in this area remains rocks and trees.
