Rode the paths just north of Jimmy jr bowl. Easy valley crossing with gumboots.
10cm new valley bottom, maybe 18 at the top. Stayed sub zero, no need for skin wax. Constant snow all day but only a little accumulation. Surface froze pretty well prior to new snow so not bonding that well, crampons required on steeper slopes. Could still feel crust, not quite enough for face shots, hopefully can by tmrw. Light N wind with some moderate gusts, in low alpine at 1:30 some minor consolidation but not slab, at least not yet. Little vis, only one small sluff off the cliffs heard.
