Skied whirlwind in the morning of Feb 23rd. Had an inversion and clear skies. Riding quality was superb in the morning before the snow warmed up.
We observed surface hoar in the alpine and saw plenty of debris falling from above on solar aspects from yesterday.
Later in the day, the snow warmed up significantly and we had lots of glomping.
No signs of instability in the snowpack were observed on the western aspects of Whirlwind, where we skied.
