Geronimo - Shames Backcountry

Melt freeze cycle in full effect. North facing slopes very firm even in early afternoon below treeline. Skied alpine SE slope (Geronimo) at 12 for perfect cornsnow. Was getting punchy through glades at the bottom. Very good skiing on south slopes if off them early.
