Poking around Tunnel

Skied alpine lines on both N and S apects. Didn't find good skiing. Best skiing was in the low angle sheltered trees near the hut. Wind has made the conditions challenging, trending poor. 1-2cm IFsc(suncrust) on solar aspects. Surface hoar growth from 2mm-6mm on all shady/sheltered slopes, from 1500m-2000m. Hs average 120-170cm. ECTN24 on Facet/Rounds interface N aspect. Similar result down 25 on S aspect.
