The start zone was a classic pinched convex roll on home run. Down the main line before it opens up into the willowy segment that runs into the skin track. The pinch was a bit steep that ran out to mellow terrain.
The upper ridge rode beautifully. As we progressed down, the snow changed; it was heavier and shallower new snow on top of wind/sun affected crust.
The image is pretty flat but you can see the runout of the avalanche below the skier.
