Skied crowfoot and little crowfoot today with amazing ski conditions. 15 to 20 cm of light blower pow on top of supportive crust. Significant wind affect on due west aspects high alpine, but the N and NE aspect skiing was primo. Very few stability concerns today but we generally stayed in well supported terrain.
See photos. Noticed a crown indicating a size 2 at the end of the day in east facing, unsupported high alpine terrain off vulture. Likely due to cornice failure. Also saw evidence of 1-1.5s on the south chutes off Jimmy Simpson on north side of bow lake.
