Nic’s nak’s pretty whack

Spring season sunny skiing in January powder. Super fun. Crust on some sun affected slopes and under some trees leaking icicles. Snow still sparse in some dense steep trees. Nice powder in other terrain. Rapid temperature rise throughout the day and sharp temperature drop with sunset. Faceting on open, sun exposed slopes.

Iced over and snow covered debris in chutes and on steep slopes. Most obvious slopes have already slid. Lots of pinwheeling today.

Quick temperature rise to 2 degrees during the day and then down to-5 at sunset. Clear, sunny day with no new snow.

Powder at upper elevations. Variable crusts up to 5cm thick on the surface or up to 8cm below surface. Icing below some trees on sunny aspects.
