Quick Observation
We skied the Curtain Glacier, with good snow conditions. In the alpine on northerly aspects there's ~15cm of fresh snow, mostly sitting on a supportive crust, though you can't really feel the crust while skiing. There's a couple of very obvious sags in the glacier to be aware of. Below treeline (at the bottom of the run) the snow was soft and still skied well. The route through the trees to Russet drainage wasn't as bushwacky as feared.
