Solar aspects 15cm of new low density snow at higher elevations on firm crust. Northerly aspects deeper ski penetration to aprox 30cm in the new snow seen in last 48hrs. Hand pit on SW aspect at 1300m upper 30cm of new snow sitting on supportive MFC. Lots of sloughing of the top 15m of low density snow, small skier triggered slabs to size 1 seen but generally dry loose. Minimal wind effect on any aspect. Overall great skiing above 1150m.
