Quick Observation
Wind affected in exposed areas above 1700m. Mixture of thin breakable wind crust and pockets of slightly dense creamy pow. Blower in wind sheltered terrain below 1800m. Trees are still very thin. Thin coverage in windward aspects viewed across the valley (Cowboy, some pockets of grass still sticking out, talus just below ridge top).
Snowpack
ECTN14 down 15 in F to 4f storm snow layer, RP. Mix of 4f to 1f, trending to 1f from 25-80cm down. Bottom 30cm P hard re-frozen saturated base. Could only get new storm snow to move after walloping the column post-test, rest well bonded.
