Deep snow, slow skiing

Rode to the right side of the large gulch on the other side of the Fraser chute, wind picked up throughout the day and began affecting the snow higher up. Wind was blowing westerly across the slopes. Snow was deep, powder was good, but shallow slope angle with lots of snow made for slow skiing. Stayed to shallow slope angles, avoided steeper rolls and corniced drops.
