Weekend stay at Thunder Meadows hut. Most southern aspects were heavily wind scoured with isolated pockets of cross loading. Skiing conditions in the Orca bowl were better, testing of steep wind loaded pockets showed little reactivity.

Moderate to strong winds from the southwest trended stronger from 01/10-01/11.
Snowpack
The top 40 cms on a steep wind scoured S aspect at 1900 m contained several stiff crusts with 2-4 mm facets in between each crust.
