New record low for snow

HS = 5cm at Coquihalla Summit (1230m)... an all-time low for Dec 10 since records began in 1986... even less than the 7cm recorded in 2002 :( Dust on crust conditions at treeline... HS = 50-70cm ... even high north aspects (see last photo of 2 Bears) are barely at threshold... still needs several storms yet.

Very pleasant at Great Bare weather station. Inverted temperatures.

Foot pen = 5cm. Multiple laminated crusts in the snowpack, getting successively thicker and harder to get a shovel into. Nov 23 crust has rounding facets (2-3mm) above... but you'd need a jackhammer to get down to it. CTN.
