Crowfoot Glades

Started at truck -1 C at 8:45 AM. Mainly cloudy with no wind. Dusted of snow in the skin track until across the lake and 1/2 up the approach. New snow started to become deeper. Zero instabilities noticed while up tracking. Occasionally (2-3 x) ski broke through support crust - minor. Alpine doesn’t have any cornices. Wind was 0-5 km’s all day. Temp stayed flat and clouded in / impacting visability on descents. Old ski tracks were visable but were not hard at all. No flurries at all / +1 C back at truck at 1 PM. No pits dug. Unable to get any slab movement or slough on any steep / hard turn. Great day in very safe area.
