<p>Toured up Destiny Peak under sunny skies and light/nil wind. About 12-15cm new snow and no sign of recent avalanche activity. Ski penetration about 15-20cms BTL, 8-10 in the alpine. Dug two pits:
First:
2300m, -10, east aspect
HS 95cm
HST 15cm
Top 20cm: fist
Next 20: 4 fingers
October 26 crust down 59
25-30cm of Facets underneath
20cms of 1 finger at the bottom
Compression test: failed at the facet layer on CTM18
Extended column test: no result
Second:
2450m, -10, southeast aspect
HS: 90cm
HST: 15cm

The layer between the October 26 crust and storm snow is largely missing in the alpine.
We heard whoomfing multiple times BTL and once near the top of Destiny Peak. Temperature was steady near -10 all day. Some surface hoar BTL.</p>
