Darkside peak

December 17th we skied north facing slopes near Darkside Peak. High quality skiing between 1700m and 2100m. Boot top new snow was well bonded to a supportive base. We didn’t encounter any wind slabs where we were skiing but noted wind building throughout the afternoon. We had rolling flurries throughout the day. We found an HS of 70cm at tree line. Good coverage over the road and skiing through the lower cut block was surprisingly pleasant.
