Quick Observation

Scouting around armchair, below 1800m coverage is not great and travel through dense trees is difficult. Above 1800m coverage improves and snow quality and depth goes up. On NE leeward slopes, shooting cracks and whumpfs observed at 1900m traveling up a convexity on a ridge.

Snowpack

After observing shooting cracks and whumpf, we dug a quick pit and did a column test. CTE2 down 40 RP.
