Extremely good conditions on the south end of Bow Peak yesterday. Some of the best snow i've skiied in a long time, and great stability.
Dug several pits over the course of two days here and could not find any significant layers, and could not get a failure down 1m or so. Some wind slab in the couloir, but no more than 3-4" and generally scattered, not widespread. No wind effect to speak of. Bootpacked into the upper funnel and skied the line to the trees, excellent consistent snow the whole way.
Temps remained cold for us, but i'm sure things will change when it starts warming up again.
