Warm(ish) day with light wind from no one direction,snowing moderately to heavily

Stepped with skis onto ECT pit after use. Broke and slid at bottom of pit, see photo for depth reference Took a short walk on a ridge at tree line during a brief break in the clouds but surrounding slopes had no clear signs of recent slides
