Avalanche Information

Saw this recent windslab as we skinned to waterfall trees. Looks like a second skier triggered it and it propagated to their L and R (hard to see their tracks in the pic). Looked thin and skier was likely fine.

Weather

Wind transport was high near ridge from valley btm over the knolls in AM. less to none in PM. Quite warm In PM with solar warming of new snow.

Snowpack

Skied Waterfall trees in morning and Fayzurs in afternoon (2:30 pm). In morning we didnt experience any signs of instability. Lots of snow transport up from valley to west as we skinned in. Noticed that S faces were sun crusted from yesterday. We saw saw 2 size 1 skier triggered wind slabs on SE face by others. Skiing was soft and deep. In afternoon, sun was heating the S faces of Fayzurs. We stayed tight to the trees and avoided openings in the slope.
