Skip traverse W to E. Widespread surface hoar 3-7mm above 700m. No wind. Snow in alpine variable from bulletproof/ice to breakable crust to minor pockets of wind affected powder. Snow below treeline heavy and wet with breakable sun crust. Old windslab release observed on NW aspect above lake.
