Explored 1400 to 1900m with most travel in the trees or large openings on NW or NE asp. Ski pen from 15-30cm in facetted surface snow. Foot pen to 40cm in sheltered areas with <10 in exposed alpine windward slopes. Light, low density snow in light flurries during morning with 2-4 new accumulation. Winds moderate from NE in early a.m. to moderate SE by noon. No new instabilities noted. Touring in this zone definitely worthwhile.
