Rainbow Peak- 19 miles creek Valley

Helidrop from Rainbow summit, transit trough the south-east ridge until we could ride into the north side of the ridge. On top, snow crust, wind+sun affected. N-NE facing slopes had good snow quality (15cm powder). E facing slopes sun affected with crusty powder. 1 size 1.5 slab seen on top of the ridge: natural/cornice triggered more likely. Snow heavy/wet under 1500m even on N aspects.
