We went to try the stem today. There were a lot of avalanches in the Bow Summit area since/during that last storm. The Stem had lots of debris at the base and was quite wind hammered. It was hard to hold an edge skinning up the lower bit with no ski pen. The winds were very strong and the skiing seemed very unappealing so we went to ski the normal stuff off the shoulder at Bow. Of note was the slope between Dog Leg chute and the shoulder had slid and looked like it piled up quite deep when it came to rest in what appears to be a terrain trap.
