Practice Makes Precip

The NoRo team was up on Lucille today. We managed to get above the rain line mid mountain and into the powder! Poor visibility and high hazard kept us in the meadows around the cabin. We took the opportunity to brush up on our companion rescue skills. Our snowpack tests showed instability in the new storm snow but not on the crust near the bottom. The avalanche hazard will remain elevated while this new snow bonds.
