5cm of recent snow overlies a firm crust from valley-bottom up to 1400m. Crust is weak thin above. New snow amounts up to 15cm at treeline. The early December crust is down 68cm below-treeline and 95cm at treeline here. It is most reactive in snowpack tests below-treeline where the crust is firm and 5cm thick.
