Had some excellent weather and visibility for an AST 1 course up Lucille today. Didn't see any signs of avalanches aside from one glide crack release in the north Rockies across the valley that likely went during last week's warming and rain. No signs of instability or avalanche problems in the area and lots of highmarks into steep alpine terrain were seen with no results. When we dug down at tree line we found the Nov 4th rain crust down about 90cm but it seemed well bonded. We found no signs of other weaknesses or significant layers in the snowpack.
