We skied around the Shannon Creek basin between 1550m-1200m. We skied the tree triangle down to Home Run and 2 laps down Hot-Dog. There was 60-70cm HST from this last storm, which was quite high density at the elevations skied today with a bit of low density fluff on top. Moist snow below 1300m. Skiing was pretty good and right side up. HS was 260cm at 1380m
Avalanches of note: there was a size 3 that came out off the North face of Sky Pilot and ran all the way down to the basin where the skin track usually crosses to get over to Hot Dog area. It was hard to see the crown line as it was obscured with cloud. The debris was covered with 10cm of new snow.
Size 1.5 windslab out of the lower Cleavage run, pulling under the rock face. The size 2 slope above Home Run trees had not pulled and we avoided crossing right under this. There were a few size 1-1.5 just passed the regular performer.
Exit gully had a few crown lines down the path but the upper entrance had not pulled. We suspect there is a crust on this now due to being in the sun for 30min + while we were in the area.
