Montana - Surface Hoar & Slab

Slab properties have increased over the mid February surface hoar layer. Ski cut easily released the slab down 30cm and propagated on the whole feature. Did a second ski cut to clean out the remaining hang fire on the flank. Has we get incremental loading on this layer the slab will become stubborn and harder to control. *Near miss - Somebody has decided to put their up-track straight up a terrain trap, right below the slope that released.
