Quick Observation

In the alpine on the way up to the Dome, there was a thin crust that may have developed on Sunday during a period of freezing fog. The foot penetration was 25-30 cm and the recent snow was dry. The North Bowl and Powder 8's skied well with no wind effect below the first 2 turns. The recent snow was well bonded to the old crust in this area. Great day to be above the valley cloud.
