Mountain condition report (Arc’teryx)mentioned a ski cut avalanche on Saturday January 19, At treeline- our party did not see crown/debris or ski tracks the Following day (which made for excellent skiing), hasty hand pit did not give results on Jan 17 layer @2100m northeast aspect. We still Stayed away from steep terrain knowing that avalanches can step down and lapped between 2100 and 1650m.
