Musical Bumps

Better than expected skiing in the Musical Bumps today. No visibility in the alpine, ~5cm of snow overlies a horrific crust with lots of evidence of wind transport. In lee terrain ATL saw convex roll micro terrain features release under skier weight. Noted cornice development on ridge crests and stayed well away. Best skiing was found in sheltered trees ATL. Ski pen <30cm but varies dependent on area. Snow got heavier as day progressed but still offered good skiing.
