Singing Pass/Cowboy Ridge

We were exiting the Kees and Claire Hut via the singing pass, but strayed from the route downhill and got into a steeper drainage. The intense amount of snow fall made travel along flatter sections very challenging. We should have stopped and hiked back out, but instead proceeded down onto the slope. The skier did one turn on the open slope and triggered the slide, but managed to get into tree cover to avoid being taken with it. The westerly slope was heavily loaded from the storm snowfall.
