The sun turned the surface snow to moist in S facing aspects around 13:00pm

Ski pen and foot pen increased to 5cm above 1600m (in sheltered, non-wind affected areas). The surface crust was breaking down and transitioned from 6cm thick to 1cm as we gained elevation.
