Quick Observation
Ascended the Thar/Nak Saddle from beyond the Thar shoulder today. South aspect open slopes have a nice 2-3cm crust. Areas sheltered from. direct sun are still fine. This crust on the south is sitting on varying 15-25cm of 4f density Snow. Another crust sits below that. Beware of this crust as we get new snow. Punching through the saddle, Snow is heavily wind effected for the upper bowl, as we descended down the Snow gradually improved enough we opted to do a few laps in the open terrain. The ski out towards falls lake is in rough icy shape.
