Some whumphing and cracking as we came out of the trees into the bean drainage. Dug around and got 2x ECT 11 (SP) down 35 on FC 1 overlying MFcr; and CTM 11 (SP) on the same layer. Below the crust the snowpack was a mix of facets and crusts to ground

Observed obvious whumphing and cracking as we came out of the trees into the open drainage btl. Dug around and got 2x ECT 24 (SP) down 35 on size 1 facets sitting above a crust; CTM 11 (SP) on the same layer. Below the crust, the snowpack was a mix of facets and a couple more crusts.
