Summited Boom following the scramblers route.
Left the car around 9 and everything was still very bulletproof. All the south facing avalanche paths have already slid through most of the tracks and well into the runouts. Crust was impenetrable until about 2600m where it was a slightly more breakable crust(~5cm) above a thin layer of rounding facets and then another crust. Sun was super hot but air stayed cool enough that everything held up really well.
Summited at noon. No entrainment in any surface snow everywhere I skied and the skin track to the road stayed fast and supportive at least until 1pm.
I did see two size 1.5 either point release or cornice failures on extreme NE alpine terrain on Whymper. First was on the west peak about 100m lookers right of the entrance to X couloir at 11:00am. Second was on the northeast outlier at 12:30pm.
